Nursery

Redeemer values all of the infants and children in our midst and views them as important members of our community. We will make every effort to shepherd our children's hearts to rely heavily on the grace of Jesus revealed in the gospel. We want the church to be a place where our children feel at home and a community where they feel loved and secure. Children of all ages are always welcome in the worship service.

Our nursery is a safe and healthy place where you can be assured that your children are well cared for. The Baby Nursery is designed for babies ages 3 months up to confident walkers. In this room, your baby will be well-cared for, loved, and prayed for each week. The Toddler Class is for our confident walkers up through three years old.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
The Nursery at Redeemer is staffed with both paid workers and church volunteers who are there to teach and love your child. All workers-both paid and volunteer-have completed child safety training and have successfully completed background checks through Ministry Safe. Our paid staff is also Red Cross Certified. 

Your child will be checked in via iPad once you arrive. You will receive a bar code that will be used to match your child to you upon check-out.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE NURSERY
Once in the nursery, your child will be taken care of by screened and trained staff and volunteers. We take seriously the command to teach about God and His story of redemption to our children. Your child will hear a bible story, read by our church volunteer, sing songs that tell of Jesus’ love and salvation for them, and engage in a simple prayer. 

We have a 15 minute settling policy. Please allow us 15 minutes to help your child settle into the nursery. If they have not settled after 15 minutes, or if another situation arises that requires us to contact you, we will notify you through text.
